What We Do

Engage, Experience, Enjoy…

We provide training and a real life work environment for activities including in horticulture, agriculture and care of animals. Visitors can get involved in the ‘hands on’ conservation and development of a working farm and be part of a great and enthusiastic team.

Our aim is to inspire, encourage and support the practices of horticulture, gardening and conservation in the North West. We do this in a variety of ways through programmes of education, conservation and weekend clubs. Details about these areas can be found via the sub-menu to the right.

Bridge Inn Community Farm is an ongoing – and exciting – project that we would love you to come and experience. As an overview, some of the things we offe include:

Horticulture

We grow lots of interesting fruit and vegetables on our newly developed garden plot towards the back of the farm and we are home to a variety of gardens featuring shrubs, herbs, trees, vegetable patches, fruits and ponds.

Weekend Clubs

At the weekend we host a wide range of exciting and inspiring activities and events ranging from floristry and craft sessions to bird watching and coarse fishing. You can find out more details about all of our weekend clubs here.

Regular Shows and Events

We have an exciting schedule of shows and events planned for the near future so don’t forget to check our events section for the latest news and updates.

Cups of Tea

With fresh farm produce, home-made cakes, tea, coffee and light bites; the Farm Café is the perfect place to sit, unwind and take in the relaxing atmosphere.

Located next to the farm courtyard, it is bright and spacious with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating areas.

Open Days

We hold open days throughout the year to enable people to come and find out more about us and see the farm. Keep an eye on our calendar for our next event.
