Conservation Work

Caring for our Future

Conservation work plays a big part in our aims and future ambitions for the farm. We have a whole farm approach to conservation and understand the importance of managing our local wildlife habitats and its biodiversity.

The farm promotes the growth and development of a diverse variety of plants, shrubs and wildlife. Our team and volunteers carry out conservation work on every aspect of the farm, from the hedgerows and fencing to the meadows and soil, cultivating the land in harmony with the existing wild habitat.

Through growing a large variety of plants and maintaining their natural habitats we enable plants to continue to evolve and adapt to natures changing conditions. The farm landscape is continually being developed and we are currently creating more areas of permanent pasture to promote wildlife to the back of the farm.
